What We Do

Mission 139 is a 501(c)3 non-profit founded on Psalms 139:14

We believe that every individual is fearfully and wonderfully made, deserving of dignity, opportunity, and tailored support to achieve their fullest potential.

Guided by this truth, we strive to empower students with diverse learning needs and their families,. We stand firm in our commitment to uplift and empower students with neurodiversity like, ASD, ADD/ADHD, and Dyslexia. Our mission is to ensure that no child suffers because of their unique needs.

Through scholarships, financial assistance, and low-cost educational advocacy services, we strive to create equal opportunities for every child to access quality education and personalized learning support, paving the way for a brighter future.

Educational Advocacy Services

An educational advocate is a professional dedicated to helping students and their families navigate the complexities of the education system. Advocacy ensures that every student, particularly those with unique needs or learning differences, has access to the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive. How Mission 139 Can Help: Understanding Educational Rights: We help families understand their rights under laws like the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and state-specific regulations. IEP and 504 Plan Support: We guide families through the process of developing, reviewing, or revising Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 Plans to ensure they are tailored to meet the student’s specific needs. Collaboration with Schools: We act as a bridge between families and schools, facilitating productive communication to address challenges and find solutions. Navigating Evaluations and Services: We assist in requesting and interpreting evaluations, ensuring students receive appropriate accommodations, therapies, or interventions. Empowering Families: We provide families with the knowledge and tools to effectively advocate for their children long-term. At Mission 139, we believe in the power of advocacy grounded in compassion, respect, and collaboration. I have over 10 years of expertise as a special education professional and educational advocate, I am passionate about celebrating the individuality of every child and work tirelessly to ensure they have equitable access to education. Guided by the belief that each child is fearfully and wonderfully made, I take a personalized approach to advocacy, listening to families’ unique stories and tailoring solutions to their specific circumstances. My mission is not only to secure immediate support for students but also to empower families with the confidence and knowledge to advocate effectively for their children in the future. When you partner with me, you’re not just gaining an advocate—you’re gaining a compassionate ally committed to helping your child achieve their fullest potential.
